Dry mare care includes housing in an outdoor pen, hay fed 2-3 times a day, and grain fed 1-2 times a day. Wet mare care includes a 12x24 stall for inclement weather, as well as an outdoor pen, hay fed 3 times a day, and grain fed 2 times a day. Supplemental foal care includes instances such as veterinary prescribed medications, supportive care, or intensive monitoring. Mares due to foal are housed in an outdoor pen during the day and a 12x24 fully monitored stall at night. After foaling mare and foal are are kept in a 12x24 stall for the first 4-5 days, then allowed limited turnout.
Stallion Care and Boarding
- Short term stallion care: $15/day
- Full service stallion boarding: $650/month
- Full service stallion boarding and exercise: $1000/month
Short term stallion care is for stallions staying with us for 2 weeks or less. Short term stallion care includes housing in a 12x12 stall and at least 12 hours a day turnout in an individual 1/2 acre pen, hay fed 3 times a day, and grain fed 1-2 times a day. Full service stallion boarding includes housing in a 12x12 stall, at least 12 hours a day turnout in an individual 1/2 acre pen, hay fed 3 times a day, grain fed 1-2 times a day, grooming, and bathing. Full service stallion boarding and exercise includes everything that full service stallion boarding does, plus exercise (groundwork or riding) twice a week.
- AI to an on site stallion- fresh semen: $300
- AI to an off site stallion- cooled semen: $350

AI to an on site stallion includes collection, insemination, a dose of lutalyse (if needed), and ultrasound examinations through fetal heartbeat (up to 5 total). AI to an off site stallion with cooled semen includes insemination, a dose of lutalyse (if needed), and ultrasound examinations through fetal heartbeat (up to 5 total), as well as the scheduling of the semen shipment. AI with frozen semen includes insemination, a dose of lutalyse (if needed), and ultrasound examinations through fetal heartbeat, as well as the scheduling of the semen shipment if the semen is coming from an off site stallion. On farm AI does not include mare care, stud fees, or shipping (if breeding to an off site stallion). Additional hormone therapy available as needed at an additional cost. Additional ultrasound examinations available if needed at a cost of $25 per exam.
Collection and Shipping
- Collection and Shipping: $400
- Cleanout collection: $50 per cleanout

Collection and Shipping includes the collection, semen evaluation, packaging, and overnight shipping of semen from any of the stallions currently standing on site. Does not include stud fee. Cleanout collection includes collection and basic semen evaluation for motility. Test shipment exam includes collection, semen evaluation, and packaging for shipment. The “shipment” is stored for 24 hours, then opened and evaluated.
- 1 mare: $35 per exam
- 2+ mares in same trailer load: $30 per exam per mare
- Mares receiving on farm AI: $25 per exam (if additional exams are needed)
Ultrasound examinations are available by appointment Saturday-Thursday. Mares receiving on farm AI have up to 5 ultrasound exams included in AI price.
- Alexander the Great PRR (EEaaTT): FROZEN ONLY $650 per dose
- Aislan of Lion King (EEaaTT PSSM1 n/n.): $1000 for feathered breeds ($600 for non-feathered breeds)
- Avalon’s King Arthur: No longer available for breeding to outside mares
$150 Discount per mare when breeding multiple mares in the same breeding season to any of our stallions (does not include frozen semen)
- Fully monitored foaling: $500
Foaling price includes daily turnout, a 12x24 stall, new foal exam, and IgG test. Does not include mare care. Any additional veterinary costs are billed to owner. Any complications resulting in additional care (such as dummy foal syndrome, limb deformities, patent urachus, ect.) will add an addition fee to the foaling cost dependent on intensity of care. - 3 day uterine lavage: $250 ($75/day for each additional day, as needed)
For the treatment of uterine infections or retained fluid after foaling, our 3 day lavage technique includes antibiotics and a pH correcting buffer. Up to two ultrasound examinations are included, if needed, to confirm uterine cleanout after the treatment is complete.
Layup and Rehabilitation
- Full care rehabilitation: $20/day
Includes a 12x12 or 12x24 stall, depending on availability, daily turnout, and complete care as directed by veterinarian. Does not include cost of medication or consumable materials such as bandaging materials. Price may vary depending on intensity of care. Limited availability.
